We had the pleasure of working with Steve for both the purchase of our new home, and the sale of our old home. We met Steve through an online inquiry, so we had no expectations at the time we met him - as a matter of fact, we were in the process of deciding who we were going to use. Steve met us at the first property we looked at, and we were immediately impressed with the way he conducted business. He allowed us space to look at things, asked what our thoughts were, and then gave his impression & observations. Steve was great at catching things that a less experienced person would often overlook. His knowledge of the area we were looking in was impressive. He was very matter-of-fact about things, which we appreciated, and was good at identifying very early on what our needs were. Offers, counters, process, and closing all went very well, and we love our new home and neighborhood. On the selling side, we were quick to narrow down where we needed to price things, and the marketing of our home was great. He had great advice for us in regard to what we needed to do to sell the house, both from a standpoint of staging and updates. We were able to get on the market for less hassle than we would have ever expected. We had a couple false start offers, but when we got a couple real offers, he was attentive to our interests while balancing that with our timing goals. We closed a week ago, and there were no issues whatsoever. I would (and will) recommend Steve highly to anyone that asks. My wife and I recently relocated from California to Minneapolis. Because of the distance involved, we couldn't do walk-throughs of the properties that interested us, but Steve toured these properties, took hours of video, and helped us find a property that suited us to a "T". His assessments of the properties were fair and honest, and his advice about making an offer was spot-on The end result was that the house we bought exceeded our expectations - we really love this house. Buying long distance was a new challenge for all of us, but Steve went the extra mile to ensure a positive outcome. Plus, he's a really nice guy and he knows his stuff. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for properties in the Twin Cities area.
